Waffle House - Douglasville

I always look forward to my visits to Waffle House, and I truly enjoy every moment spent there. The food is absolutely delicious. My wife and I were treated exceptionally well by the staff, who were some of the friendliest people I've encountered. The waffles with blueberry nuggets reminded me of my favorite blueberry muffins, but they were lighter and fluffier. Everything tasted fresh, and my drink was never empty. The staff worked seamlessly as a team, creating an atmosphere where both they and the customers felt welcomed and appreciated. It was a fantastic experience!

Typically, when I'm the only customer in a chain restaurant, it raises some concerns. However, that wasn’t the case here. Our meals were served quickly, fresh, hot, and delicious—exactly what we needed after a hectic week. As an added bonus, we both left feeling satisfied and full for under $20.

I would give this place one star because there’s no option for zero or negative ratings. It was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. We walked in, sat down, and shortly after, a bug crawled across our table while the waiter just watched me kill it. I understand it’s Waffle House and things can happen, but it didn't stop there. I only managed to take three bites of my grits, and when my girlfriend ordered two biscuits, a bug crawled out of one of them. That was enough for us. We simply wanted the biscuit with the bug removed from the bill. On top of that, they were overcharging us and insisted we pay for the entire meal. Needless to say, I won't be returning, and I hope they’ve let that terrible waiter go.

Usually, if I find myself alone in a chain restaurant, I tend to be cautious. However, our experience was wonderful—our food arrived quickly, was fresh, hot, and delicious, just what we needed after a busy week. As a bonus, we both left happy and satisfied for under $20!
