Terrible customer service at this restaurant. Three young women working behind the counter were constantly complaining and expressed their desire to close and go home during lunchtime on Sunday. When I asked for iced lattes, I was informed they had run out of both milk and ice. I also witnessed one of the employees cough all over the service counter without covering her mouth. There was no greeting, thanks, or goodbye given to customers.

I would have been more forgiving of the average food and drinks if the staff had been pleasant. However, we experienced passive-aggressive service from the young women working there. They seemed to dislike their jobs and were rude in their interactions with us. It's a shame because when this place first opened, it was good. Deal has other independent coffee shops with excellent service, and if this restaurant doesn't make some changes, they will continue losing customers each month. The solution is simple - have the owners work shifts with the staff, provide training in excellent customer service, change food and coffee suppliers, and focus on quality over quantity. Mystery shop and provide feedback and incentives to the staff, and if they do not improve, replace them. I hope this restaurant can turn things around, but for now, I will be avoiding it. I would have rather spent £16 on a large fish and eaten it messily rather than return to this restaurant. Good luck.

I sat outside of this cafe today and enjoyed a delicious latte while my partner had a flat white. The latte art on our drinks was fantastic. The two young staff members were very attentive and friendly, with one of them helping me with our drinks. The coffee shop has a lovely atmosphere and I will definitely be returning.

This was a great find. Not in center of busy town but still in main area. The coffee is really good. The staff are friendly and plenty of seating.

Fabulous coffee shop, that serves the best coffee in town. The staff are amazing,they are all always so friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service.
