The entrance mat was filled with leaves and bird fluff, and there was a medium-sized dog sitting on the leather seats near the door. After taking in the scene, we promptly left.
Ethan was as helpful and obliging as ever. Just needed to mention 'Stan ', as his badge said in training. They were one coffee machine down, and had a queue. His customer service remained excellent, even when people were asking where their drinks were. Definitely a keeper.
I don’t normally write reviews however I came in today for a coffee and was very impressed with the staff. They were busy due to it being a lunch time and unfortunately only had one coffee machine working. The person making the coffees was in training but worked well under the pressure and was supported by fellow staff. Well done to him!
There are plenty of tables available so there's no need to rush. The restaurant is pet friendly. The fruit bread is delicious and affordable.
My friend and I were shocked and appalled when we visited Starbucks for lunch and were told to either throw away our drink or leave because it wasn't purchased from Starbucks. Despite spending our own money on lunch, we were treated poorly by the staff who prioritized profit over customer satisfaction. This was not the first time we experienced such rudeness from the staff. On a previous visit, I ordered a matcha frappe but received a chocolate frappe instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the staff member was dismissive and blamed me for the error. This was a disappointing experience, especially considering the excellent service at other Starbucks locations. It appears there may be issues with management and staff training at the Deal branch. It would be beneficial for them to reconsider their approach to dealing with customers.
