Coffee Barn Cafe - Dover

I seriously have never given a bad review but honestly had the worst experience for the ~5 minutes we were in this cafe. The second we walked in the woman (she?s been referred to a million times in other reviews just search ?woman? was extremely rude and curt with us, rolling her eyes and acting very impatient. When we asked to take the coffees to go while she was making them I could not BELIEVE how rude she was. While we waited for our $6.50 apiece lattes (no joke, moreexpensive than Starbucks she chatted nicely to another man about personal things clearly he lived in the area. I used to work in a coffee shop and this is a clear case in point of a nasty staff worker (I?ve worked with a few who onlycares to be nice to locals, and chooses to be rude to visitors since they believe they won?t be back. We might have been, if she?d acted decently, but will certainly not now, and will make sure to let our friends in the area know. I hopethe owners of this place start paying attention to all these terrible reviews, and replace her with better staff

Great coffees. Always hot and fresh. Beautiful selection of sandwiches and freshly baked snacks. Great place to stop on the slopes after a day!

Had a great coffee. Warm people. They even kept the café open after 6 when we went exactly to 6 and engaged in a small conversation, shared their experiences.

As a New Yorker, the Bagels and Coffee VT feel like home away from home.

Great service. Delicious sandwiches. Excellent coffee. Dan created a fantastic coffee shop and restaurant just a mile from Mount Snow.
