Newick's Lobster House - Dover

I LOVE @Newicks Lobster House!! #Newicks Lobster House I don't know if @s and #s work; I am too old; crazy people NOW HAVE TO SAY they are too old to know how to come in this world. No longer able to give sage advice; Children look to friends and cell phones and that, where things start to go? Whoever goes here more than once does it again. It can become the habit. A good; always welcome. You can't beat the atmosphere. People are great. A friendly place to relax and eat and review my art while you wait for your food?! Haha. Good.

I remember this place as a kid. It was always busy and the gift shop was great, now gone. It was a special treat. The food is still as good as it was, although the menu is much smaller. Classic seafood joint fried boiled and baked with chowder and other offerings. The yawning empty space definitely takes the shine off and makes me remember days coming with my Dad and grandparents when it was packed! It's certainly not what it was but it's the best example of some decent classic New England seafood for a reasonable price I know of in the area. The service was very good and everything was a slice of memories with great people.

Great food! Awesome service!!! Amazing view of the water. Staff is very friendly! Hubbies in seafood heaven! Our server Shana was so patient and nice. Can't wait to return.

We had Gloria for our waitress!! Our first time visiting and we'll be back. They are finishing up adding an ice cream parlor in the front and renovations to the bar area.

This place is really fantastic. Great service, great food, great view, but a bit pricey and they use paper and plastic table settings. I?d definitely come back for the lobster. It?s very good and really generous portions, but still pricey for a place that has homey, small-town, ?nothin fancy? vibes.
