Sunrise Pointe Cafe - Dover

This was our first visit and will be returning! The açaí bowls were outstanding. The pastries are all home made. The coffee and Chai tea was also great. The best part was the service! The owner introduced herself and her staff was great!

It is bright and spacious and clean, also staff were very friendly. However I felt the food I got was a little overpriced, and it wasn't super fantastic. It wasn't bad, it's just nothing I would go back for. I love small businesses and I hate to give anything short of a glowing review... there was a large selection of baked items, maybe I should have tried something else.

I had the opportunity to visit this café today, and I definitely plan to return! I ordered two coffees—nothing extravagant, but they were still very good. The baked goods are truly exceptional. The muffin I had was incredibly moist inside and perfectly crispy and sugary on the outside. It’s hands down the best I’ve had in a long time, and definitely the finest in Dover compared to other coffee shops. The morning glory bread was also delicious. My husband declared that the bialy bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich was the "best breakfast sandwich he’s ever had." I’m really excited to become a regular here! I also want to mention that, as a new mom, I greatly appreciated the convenient parking and the spacious interior. I brought my baby in her carrier, and the ladies at the counter were incredibly kind. It wasn’t too busy, and they even helped me carry my food and coffees out to my car!

The event featured live music and a selection of appetizers and small entrées, perfect for a relaxing evening. We kicked things off with drinks—my wife opted for a decaf latte while I chose the Espresso Martini. We also couldn’t resist trying the hot Reuben Dip served with crackers (see pic 1). Wow! It was absolutely delicious—not too meaty, but just the right amount to provide that classic Reuben flavor. We also shared a Vegetable Lasagna (see pic 2), which was equally delightful and hit the spot perfectly. It was a wonderful way to start the weekend. My wife had just finished work, and I was dressed in my comfy sweatpants. The atmosphere was casual and laid-back, making it a great place to catch up with friends or begin your weekend on a high note. The live music was enjoyable, and everyone seemed to be enjoying each other's company. For those who prefer dining outside, they have outdoor fire pits available. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. We definitely plan to return, and I hope to see you there!

We visit this café nearly every week for their fantastic breakfast and lunch selections. Their lattes are incredible as well! So, when it was time to plan an event, they were our top choice. The atmosphere, food, and service were simply outstanding. Tawny and Nicole provided us with a wonderful blank canvas to work with for our menu and decorations, making the entire experience a pleasure. I highly recommend checking this place out for a quick coffee and snack, or even for hosting your next event! Their catering skills are excellent, and they have a liquor license too!
