Tenderbones Rib Shack - Dover

Very good food and service. We'll definitely be back.

I have been trying to buy a $100.00 gift certificate from the Dover location for the last 4 weeks, but the only person that can do that is Chef Bones. I was told different times when he would be in. Between my daughter and myself, we have been there over 12 times, including Thanksgivivg. I asked the girl that works in Dover if when she got up with Chef Bones, could she make up the card and l would come and get it. That was not an option.

I came for lunch and half the menu was unavailable, the cashier didn't even apologize for the limited menu. When picking up my order I was told that one of my sides was unavailable. What was available was ok. Ribs and brisket were flavorful all be it tough. Interior is clean but dated.

I just had to share my last two experiences at TenderBones Dover DE location. The cashier was as always smiling, friendly and courteous. On both of my last 2 visits Angelo was the chef who prepared my food. OMG the chef special which is a cheesesteak featuring 3 lbs of rib eye steak, peppers, onions and of course cheese and golden crispy fried whiting were sheer perfection and oh so so delicious. The wait was short and Angelo prepared my entrées with love. He was very polite and customer friendly.I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves an awesome cheesesteak and fried fish. Btw fried fish is only available on Friday -Fish Fry Fridays.TenderBones was also rated one of the top locations for a great cheesesteak in Delaware.5 stars for sure!!!
