Tropical Delight - Dover

Ordered jerk turkey wings, collards and Mac n cheese. Also had curried shrimp with vegetables rice and cabbage. Food was very flavorful, portions were decent and service was friendly. Order ahead to save time as food is made to order. Would definitely recommend.

Great food loved the Curry chicken with rice peas, and some fresh Collard Greens(no pork of course) and I asked about that corn bread for a extra side it. I was full and went to sleep just finished off the leftovers this morning. Before work. And the staff makes you feel like family

So food was definitely hit or miss but for me most times a hit! Being stationed in Dover felt like no man's land stuck in base lodging so this was the CLOSES thing to food from home, that wasn't fast food but a home cooked meal! Workers were ALWAYS nice and will fix ANY mistake you felt they made no questions asked!

I've heard mixed reviews about this place from friends/family so i figured I'd try it out and see for myself. Regrettably, the food wasn't that great. I ordered here several times. My worst experience was with the jerked chicken It was under seasoned anddry and seemed baked not grilled how I'm accustomed to. On top of that, the rice smelled funny as if it were starting to spoiland the cabbage had no flavor. After that experience I think I'll stick with ordering Jamaican food from the Carribean place intown.
