There are no charming paper lanterns, comfortable booths, or ornate golden dragons—just a dimly lit space that’s clearly not meant for dining in. However, there’s a silver lining: the food is quite decent. In a landscape that often craves authentic Chinese cuisine prepared by skilled chefs, this place serves up dishes that are better than most.
This is the best Chinese food I've experienced in the area. The prices are excellent considering the generous portions. The quality of the food is outstanding. Their fried chicken is probably the best I've ever tasted. The classic dishes, like General Tso's, are also some of the finest I've had. Overall, it's high-quality food at a fantastic price.
While the staff was very nice and polite, and the restaurant appeared clean, the food was simply unacceptable. We ordered takeout and were disappointed by dry and bland chicken, dumplings that were soggy and tasteless, and hard chicken in the Lo Mein. The wontons in the wonton soup were overcooked and fell apart, and the meat was tough. Shockingly, this was the first time in my husband's life that he did not finish his meal. Considering we spent $50, which is outrageous for the quality we received, I was very disappointed. I’ve never paid more than $35 for Chinese takeout, and we always order the same dishes. It's overpriced and inedible. I am not impressed, and I'm hopeful that the ingredients improve and the chef raises their standards. Until trying this place, I never thought I'd encounter bad Chinese food.
Terrible. Unless your hungry. Worst chicken and sauce. Prices are way to high for the bad menu. No eggs in the fried rice. Its literally your normal Chinese food. Don't go here.
The food is ok, but my overall experience was disappointing for several reasons. 1. Unwelcoming Front Desk: The front desk staff, especially the elderly lady, was far from welcoming. She would simply throw the receipt at us. Imagine if I, as a customer, just threw my credit card at her while paying the bill—it would be deemed highly inappropriate. This lack of courtesy was quite off-putting. 2. Billing Discrepancy: The final bill was slightly higher than the menu prices. Although the difference was small, I am particular about where my money goes and believe that everything should be clearly stated on the receipt. When we asked for an explanation regarding the discrepancy, the staff started pointing toward our table and discussing something in their native language. While I'm not assuming they said anything negative, it made for a very uncomfortable experience. 3. Unpleasant Pickup Experience: We order some items for to-go. When our food was ready for pickup, the front desk lady directed us to where we could get forks, napkins, and sauce while standing in a manner that felt like she was preventing us from taking too much. When my wife took a fork, the lady remarked that she had already provided one. However, upon returning home, we realized that no fork had been included in our bag. I don't know how much they saved by not providing an extra fork, but this level of stinginess was quite annoying. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve their customer service.
