Really disappointing. Food is good but 3 out of the last 5 times I ordered, they forgot to give me any rice. The last time was the worst. I turned up to pick up a large take away order at the time specified online and I then had to wait an hour before it was ready. I was told I would be given a discount which would be emailed to me but this never happened. As it turned out there were two wrong dishes in the order. As we live 12 miles away we couldn’t go back and get the order changed. One of the service staff was excellent but was let down but poor management.
Placed an order for delivery at ten to 5, was told to allow 40/50mins for delivery. After an hour the delivery arrived and the driver said he would have to get the order remade as the bag had burst. I rang the shop to explain and ask if it could be fast tracked, the girl agreed. Ten minutes later she rang me back to say it would actually be 40mins as there were other deliveries ahead of us and they couldn't let other peoples food go out cold. After an hour I phoned to see when we would get the order as it was well past the 40mins she quoted us. She said the driver was a couple of minutes away and would be straight with us. We then waited a further 40mins!! Food finally arrived at ten to 8, a full 3 hours after we placed the initial order and it was stone cold, so so disappointed!! It's not cheap we paid £39.30 for 3 cold meals which we waited 3 hours for, really would expect better service for the prices they charge!!
I placed an order on the 31st of January for delivery, after I placed the order I received an email at 16:11 stating this order would be for collection rather than delivery. I called the restaurant at 16:12 who stated that they had no delivery drivers as it was New Year’s Eve. This is completely understandable, but as a result I cancelled the order and received verbal confirmation that the order had been cancelled and that within 3-5 days I would receive a refund for the £42.80 I had spent. I also requested an email to confirm that this refund will be processed It is now the 10th of February and I have not yet received the refund. I called on the 3rd of January to once again request the email confirmation regarding my refund, the lady on the phone (who was incredibly polite) said that she would pass this onto her manager and I should receive this shortly along with my refund. I called on the 12th of January to request an update on the refund and the confirmation email. Once again the lady on the phone told me that she get the manager to call me back, adding that I should receive the refund in 3-5 days. I called on the 13th of January as the manager hadn’t called me back the previous day and was told the same thing. I called on the 27th of January to once again request an update on the refund I was yet to receive and was told the manager would call me back, and that I would receive a refund within 3-5 working days. It’s been over a month since I placed the order, the manager has yet to call and I’ve yet to receive a refund.
