Taj Mahal - Drammen

The food is fantastic. The taste is great and definitely has an authentic element to it. We usually go for a Paneer dish and it's really food from here. The staff are very helpful and welcoming albeit sometimes slow. There is only one issue here and that is the atmosphere. It's a bit dark and dank and feels like its stuck in 1980, this goes the same for the furniture and the style.

Delicious food! But service is not good enough. A lot of dust in the room... and here it needs to be redecorated... the leather in the sofas has large cracks and it is clear that it has been many, many years since it was redecorated. The lighting should and should be better, it's tiring to sit in such a dark room. Taj Mahal is one of Drammen's best Indian restaurants (if not the best). Always good food and pleasant service. Both a good place for takeaway and to eat inside the restaurant. Cosy, small premises, pleasant service. Indian food of the highest class. Recommended. Parking: There are many car parks and street parking nearby. In the very near future, dey are free on Sundays and Saturday afternoons. Kid-friendliness: Child-friendly and nice. They gave us the wrong order and argued with us about what we had ordered. They had in airpods and were very rude, it was really bad customer service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

No one greets us when we enter. When we wait for the food we get water, but no glass, so I have to go and ask. When we get the food we never get the drink we ordered so I have to go and ask again. When we want to leave, they don't come and ask if we want to pay, we wait a long time, and in the end I have to go and get the waiter for the third time. No hate or questions about the taste of the food. Good food, but unfortunately it was very strange and not so pleasant for me and Mother. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
