Cubby's - Draper

The dining experience was fantastic! I ordered the 3 cheese grilled cheese and my wife had the steak salad. We also shared both the regular and sweet potato fries. The service, however, was chaotic and unresponsive. The person at the register looked at me as if they hadn't understood anything I said. Hopefully, they will improve with better training as they continue to operate.

At this moment they order a combo plate to go, wait 25 minutes just get eggs.

Cubby's is a chain restaurant that has a fast food feel yet everything is made to order so it takes linger than fast food. They are known for their burgers and organic options, along with a few other menu items. The prices here are extremely high for the portion size but it definitely makes us in flavor. Their burgers are cooked just right, their Mac n cheese is pretty creamy, and their fries are crunchy.

It's such a love hate relationship with Cubbys. They changed fry containers so you get significantly less, the salad dressing container is barely half full, their prices have gone up and now they awkwardly ask for a tip at the drive thru. ?

The fries and sauce were very tasty at this restaurant! However, the salad I ordered was quite average and took a while to be served. I felt like they had forgotten about me while my friends already had their orders. The lack of Covid protections made me unsure about the place. The portion of the salad was smaller than expected and it was served in a to-go container, which was at least environmentally friendly. I'm not sure if I would return, even though my friends enjoy going there.
