Classico Italiano Gaststätte - Dresden

Restaurant is located in the heart of the square. That's the only thing it has going for it! We ordered carpaccio and had to struggle to cut the beef! Flavor was bland. Would not come again!

The restaurant is in the very old town. So the location is very good. We had dinner outside twice since it was warm and pleasant. The first time we had salmon and it was pretty good. So we decided to go a second time. That...second time we had two pasta dishes. It was very disappointing. We know very well authentic Italian food and this two dishes were not good unfortunately. The service was ok. A pity.

The service was terrible. It took them over an hour to prepare just a pizza and, although we were persons, they brought us only one fork and one knife with one napkin. They were not polite and not willing to speak English, even though...they did understand. It also took them too long to bring us the bill.

I wanted to order food but it finished just with a drinks. I kindly asked if they can do cold coffee as it was so hot and I didn't really understand menu as it was in German. The waiter with New Balance shoes aswered: we...are not a Starbucks'. Thank you for a nice welcome. Hot coffee was nice.

This place probably has the rudest staff in all of Dresden. We arrived at the restaurant around (they close at hoping to have dinner, but the waitress said that they stopped serving, even though another waiter was literally taking orders in front of...us. After point that out to her, she went and asked her colleague, who came to us and rudely asked what we wanted to order without giving us any menus. I asked what they had, and he said only something quick like salad, lasagna, or pizza (possibly mean that their pizza is not made to order. Yuck Clearly we were such a big inconvenience to him for making him do his own job so we left. Go somewhere else if you expect any kind of service because this place has absolutely none. We went to the Canadian steakhouse nearby and were warmly welcomed and treated much better.
