Op deze 1e regenachtige dag. Een aantal musea bezocht en na afloop heerlijk geborreld en gegeten in Paulaner's.Hele aardige bediening. Denken mee met een kleine snack bij de borrel. Zijn meteen maar blijven eten. Gigantische Wienerschintzel. Goede prijs/kwaliteit. Mooie afsluiting van deze geslaagde regenachtige dag. Bekijk alle feedback.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered the special salad with meet a d cheese, veal bratwurst, and buffalo cheese salad. All were very tasty. The beer was delicious and the service was efficient. The bathroom was just around the corner and this place was conveniently located next to the Palace Residence in Old Town Dresden.
Had an excellent lunch here in this restaurant. The restaurant is centrally located and has a very nice interior. The restaurant had a very cosy feel to it and was comfortable to sit in and enjoy a beer and meal. The half liter of beer I ordered was of excellent quality. I ordered their Schweinebraten, which I had also ordered at some other restaurants in my trip to Germany, and found theirs to be the best. They give a large and thick cut of pork that was cooked perfectly and was very tender and tasty in the sauce that accompanies it. There were two different types of dumplings that were also superior to what I got in other restaurants. The sauerkraut was fine. Service was friendly by German standards and fairly prompt. The prices were slightly higher than what I saw at other restaurants, but the quality of the meal and the comfort of the restaurant made it worth it.
A surprise find for us beside the Marienkirk. Didn't realise they had a branch outside Munich. They had four massive umbrellas outside, of which, later. They real eye opener was the fact that they were serving Edelstoff on gravity from a wooden cask! Half litre steins of lovely fresh beer which we had enjoyed in Munich at three of their biergartens a couple of days before. Back to the umbrellas, a massive thunderstorm which had been threatening for a while, burst with great enthusiasm and we had to stay there for another two hours, a real hardship. Go visit the beautifully restored Marienkirk and reward yourself with a bier or two....
We ate one of the nights we spent in dresden. we really liked it. it is quite different from the paulan in a few. it is small and very cozy. the dishes were good that they find in the rule in such restaurants. the service was very good. all together was a nice experience.
We stopped at lunch and beer. eating was great, and the staff was very friendly. the dark beer on the hahn was fantastic. a good visit.
