Baton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar

Feel well and very friendly service, good selection of dishes that satisfy meat lovers expectations and above all delicious, well prepared and beautiful looking portions.

When I travel deep into Quebec province, I sometimes have difficulties with the language barrier when I alone dine. I discovered there was a Baton Rouge Steakhouse near my hotel. In the past, I have dined to other Baton Rouge in other places. My thought was that as it is a chain that extends over East Canada (including Ontario), they might be able to include a non-French speaking person. My intuition was right. They had an English menu easily available, and my waitress could turn around quite well. My experience with Baton Rouge was always pleasant, and that was no exception. The ambience was comfortable, the steak was good, and the service was really attentive. I recommend this restaurant, especially for English-speaking travellers.

This restaurant is very reminiscent of the chain restaurants we tried in Ontario. The service was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious. We would definitely come back again in the future.

We were seated promptly and greeted by a friendly waitress who was a bit nervous speaking English, but still did a good job. The food was okay, with my boyfriend feeling underwhelmed by the Atlantic salmon he ordered. I had the steak and was satisfied with my choice. The wild rice that accompanied my meal was bland and lacked any flavor or seasoning. However, the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly.

This chain restaurant is pretty good. The service and food quality are excellent. However, I'm not a fan of chain restaurants because I find the atmosphere to be bland.
