The Old Spaghetti Factory - Duarte

I know I can be a bit snobby about Italian chains like Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, but I actually enjoyed my visit to OSF. Initially, I was unimpressed with the menu—so boring! I can't stand it when the only options are the typical lasagna, ravioli, and spaghetti. But then something caught my eye: Spaghetti with Browned Butter and Mizithra Cheese. I closed the menu right then and there; I had to try it. And wow, was it good! As a cheese lover, a butter lover, and just a lover of food in general, that dish was incredible. It was more than just a heart attack on a plate; it was a full-on explosion for my coronary system, pancreas, stomach, and blood pressure! I definitely felt the effects the next day. I can’t comment on anything else because that’s all I ordered. They do offer the usual all-you-can-eat bread, which was great, along with soup or salad, which I appreciated. I also heard that the menu has expanded, which is exciting. And really, how can you not be thrilled about the complimentary spumoni that comes with the meal?
