I was initially nervous about the menu prices, but the amount and quality of food and wine made it worth money. The only jarring note was a €15 cork fee on a bottle of wine purchased on the retail counter

Always great food and wonderful value on wine through the glass or bottle. Your food is simple, but excellent you can always trust what is on the menu. In the past I have mainly come for wine in the evening, but I stayed here on the other day for a bite to lunch after I had made blood tests nearby, felt a bit woozy, and their excellent vegetarian sandwich (redded sourdough, grilled vegetables, goat cheese) really hit with a small tangy salad. Not difficult, but still hit a hard balance, especially at noon. Very reasonable prices, friendly service and a nice atmosphere that you could ask more?
