Gino's - Dublin

I loved the pistachio gelato here! Tasted pretty authentic to what I would get in Italy. My husband's hazelnut gelato milkshake was also excellent. He still wishes we could go back for another one of those milkshakes. This place gets super busy but it's worth waiting in line.

I just left the store with a terrible service from one of the employees. I entered the store, where there were two girls making the payment and simply one employee has been working at the store for some time (I didn't pay attention to her name but she was blonde and older) yelled angrily for me to leave the store, I was already being attended by a super attentive trainee, and was looking at the flavors I was going to order and this woman just yelled at me to get out of the store as there were two girls in the store. I said I was choosing the flavors and she still said she didn't care and that I should wait outside. It's not the first time this has happened with this one it would work in particular. Service grade 0 on her part, and my embarrassment in front of employees and other customers.

Don’t get the bannoffe crepe! Wanted to try something different and it was not nice at all. I like bannoffe pie but the ‘crunchy bits’ that they put into the crepe reminded me of stale rice krispy : stick with the Nutella ! However lovely staff and good service.

Very delicious crepes and waffles and of course ice creams. Nice cozy ambience and good service. A bit overpriced though.

We ordered the Belgian Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Caramel. The Gelato had a slightly thicker consistency than what we've had at other gelato shops but was still delicious! The portions were really generous and service was quick! The shop itself is small, so be prepared to take your gelato to-go.
