Feedback gevenI have been in Wasabi several times along the past 5 years, unfortunately my 3 past experiences weren’t as expected and the last one definitely made them to loose a client. The all you can eat bbq buffet is not the same, it is really poor in both quality and options. The all you can eat sushi wasn’t good, the sushi was pretty much rice and the fish didn’t seem fresh, the fried stuff was extremely heavy and apparently fried in old oil. We also ordered a dish with “picanha” and the meat was hard, not even compared with the possible quality of the cut. They don’t take criticism in a positive way and don’t use it as a way to improve. The service was as bad as the food and they felt clearly bothered when I said the prices were too expensive for what was been offered. As Brazilian I would like to support the restaurant from my community, but in this case Wasabi has lost a client.
Was very disappointed with the service . My partner ordered rodizio and was impressed with the meat and server of same. My experience was very different as I ordered off menu picanha and some black beans as I explained I couldnt eat rice or chips . I explained clearly 3 times . My steak was served with rice and cannelloni beans in a beige sauce . I explained again ....she took sides away . Left steak going cold. My partner and child were finished meal by the time my Russian salad arrived that I did not order
We visted the place but we also order sushi few good times from this place and the sushi pieces are always delicious and very well prepared. Ingredients are fresh as tasteful. Comparing with the majority of sushi places, the prices are quite fair and welcoming. Sometimes service can be a bit messy depending on how busy the restaurant is but, overall, totally recommended for sushi lovers.
This place is incredible!! Music set a fun and upbeat mood, our all you can eat sushi was definitely value for money- great quality and my partner is a hoover when it comes to sushi so we definitely got our money’s worth!!! Our waitress (didn’t get her name- young petit girl from Italy) was an absolute gem! She literally ticks all the boxes- really warm and friendly, welcoming, made us laugh and showed interest in us with a quick chat but didn’t linger around our table for longer than needed, didn’t wait longer than 20 seconds for plates to be cleared and more sushi offered or empty glasses removed and a refill brought to us. She is a fire cracker and an incredible waitress and we were very pleased and impressed with how well we were looked after. Not once did we need to try and get someone’s attention or wait for anything regarding her service- she was there exactly when she needed to be every time and she made sure we were enjoying ourselves! PERFECT SERVICE! The ONLY reason this review lost one star from me is because it was noticeable that there was a slight lack of social distancing guidelines being followed. Maybe I’m wrong and wasn’t paying enough attention but my role is currently F&B manager for a hotel and with all the new norms and regulations that need to be met during service it’s now something I am well versed with and felt a less serious approach in the restaurant. It was kind of nice to almost forget we were going through a pandemic and not have it shoved in our faces everywhere we looked but I know the importance of businesses making every effort for their staff and customer safety so it is just something I felt needed to be said- for customer peace of mind I think a little more visible and noticeable actions of social distancing, sanitisation and staff to customer touchpoint avoidance is needed. But under normal circumstances this place is definitely worth 5 stars for the experience we had and we will definitely be back!!!
All you can eat sushi was fantastic! Good value for your money, and Sophia was more than helpful and pleasant.
