Stumbled across this place while looking for something to eat. Doesn't look the best, inside is a bit worn. But the food was very good indeed. Pickles etc with popadums were small portions. However one of our group commented that the naans were the best he'd had in a.long time. Portion size was good. Food was hot and delicious. Drinks were a bit on the pricey side. Complimentary drinks at the end were a bonus. Well worth a visit
Spent ages looking to find an Indian restaurant and stumbled across this place . It was very busy which was a good sign . The staff were very friendly and we only had to wait 5 minutes for them to find us a table . The choice of food was good , Nepalese and Indian . The food came out quickly and was very tasty . The chicken was so tender and the quality of the curry excellent . The decor and atmosphere was spot on for what I like as an Indian restaurant , really authentic . Would recommend definitely
Upon walking into this restaurant, we were greeted kind of bluntly asking if we had a reservation. The inquisitor did not speak clearly and I was forced to have to ask what he said several times. Upon asking questions about portion sizes and what was best for our family, the waiter was very short with his explanations and desire to assist us with what was needed. The food was good however. We have to give them that and the restaurant was clean. On a side note don't spill on the table cloths. Though plastic the staff will talk about you and then laugh about you in their native language. Just wasn't what we were hoping for as far as services.
Been 3 years since our last visit. so, we had to go back and re try. luckily we booked and had a table. the place was packed, and a wednesday evening. we opted for the Mo Mo shredded chicken dumplings when ordering we were told the meal would be 15 20 minutes as they were prepared fresh for you. they are highly recommended, fresh light with right amount of spice. main of prawn himalayan, mushroom rice, chana masala and a peswari naan. nice wine and beer selection, the food is wonderful, fresh and terrific quality. the service is perfect, Dipika looked after us all evening, she actually remembered us from 3 years previous! she is part of a very hard working team who brings the best of everything to make your meal occasion perfect. cannot fault this place at at, if you want your traditional curry, they do that equally well; but the Nepalese dishes are beautiful. highly recommended. Dipika, thank you ever so so much, looking forward to returning soon to you. x.
