I was impressed with the amount of vegan options they have. I also loved that they wrote down the ones that were vegan next to it, it made it much easier for me. The food itself was delicious and I recommend getting the avocado nigiri sushi above anything else.
Was there yesterday and totally amazed by the different and lots of vegan options on the menu. I had some Hoso Maki and the kimchi salad. Staff was very friendly and the food great. Will come again!
The Hop House caters mainly for meat eaters but has a good range of options that are suitable for vegans, not least their Kim chi, which is rarely found without fish in restaurants. The vegan bento is always a winner with plentiful portions, while the bibimbap is also nice. For smaller servings, the vegan gyoza and veg tempura are top class, as is the cucumber maki sushi.
I loooved the Kimchi-Jeon and Japchae. In my town it’s super hard to get vegan Kimchi and Korean in general so this was an absolute treat! It was delicious My Dad (meat eater) really liked the Doenjang Jjigae and said this restaurant‘a food confirmed his liking for Korean food.
