I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs Hollandaise and added bacon, which was cooked perfectly and served hot and crispy. I especially liked sitting in the back of the cafe, as it had a more comfortable atmosphere.
I had just arrived in Dublin and searched for breakfast places near my hotel. This particular restaurant didn't have many reviews, but the few it did have were positive. The establishment was small and cozy, with around 13 tables, of which about 5 were occupied. The staff was friendly and promptly seated us at a table. I decided to try the Eggs Benedict, which turned out to be delicious. The portions were generous compared to other places I had eaten at during my vacation, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a quick and satisfying meal.
I had high hopes for this restaurant, as it was cute and cosy. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The Eggs Benedict, made with smoked salmon, poached eggs, tomatoes, and Hollandaise sauce on a brioche bun, did not meet my expectations. The poached eggs yolks were hard instead of runny, and I would have preferred them on a toasted muffin or sourdough bread instead of the brioche bun. The Hollandaise sauce needed improvement, and I was confused as to why there was ketchup drizzled on the plate for the salmon. Overall, the breakfast seemed confused in its execution. The restaurant may get away with it in a tourist destination, but I give it 2 stars for the food and 4 stars for the cafe and staff. Because of this, we decided not to return for a full breakfast the next day.
Price: moderate (for 26€ two drinks, a toast and 3 pancakes) quality: both the macchiato and the hot chocolate were rich, but the avocado said it was with fermented bread and it seemed to me that it came in bread of mould. and the pancakes were small in size and the sauces should be paid an extra of 0'5 cents, without which they are a bit soda and dry. area: has exterior terrace and covered tables. service: very friendly and attentive waitress. they take note and bring things to the table, when you finish paying directly in the box. others: it has more than one vegetarian option and a vegan, has services, has traditional Irish breakfast options
Scrambled eggs had a weird taste. The bacon was very dry in some parts. Much to improve. Scrambled eggs had a strange taste. the bacon was very dry in some parts. a lot to improve.
