Rua Wood Fired Pizza - Dublin

We had a lovely meal on a busy Friday evening, we booked in advance. The pizzas were delicious, so we’re the desserts! It’s only a small place that also does take away but the atmosphere was nice, cosy casual. The service was brill and we had a great time, would definitely recommend

First off, I have to say the pizzas from Rua are the best around. We have recommended the pizzas to countless people. However, after this evenings experience we will not be ordering from Rua again. We placed an order at 18.40. The pizzas and chips arrived at 19.30. The driver had just left when we realized the dip and drinks hadn’t been delivered. He couldn’t have even left the road when I phoned the restaurant to let them know. A half hour passed and still no sign. 2 follow up calls and they didn’t know where our drinks or the driver was. I asked for a refund and they offered a €10 credit for our next order. I told them we wouldn’t be ordering from there again. The person I spoke to said a refund would not be possible, but she would ask the manager to give me a call. The manager did call, again offered the €10 credit for next order. I demanded a refund for the drinks and dips. The money was refunded immediately. I understand there are much bigger issues going on in the world right now, but either deliver the service you’re offering and that I’ve paid €60 for, or just admit that you’ve goofed up and apologize.

The freshest and tastiest meal I’ve had in Dublin in months! 10/10 for wings, tenders, pizza, banoffee and banana split . The staff were exceptional and incredibly attentive!

This place has by far the nicest vegan pizza I've eaten, and I've eaten a few. Nice melty cheese alternative (I think it's cashew cheese) with Rocket, Walnuts and Maple Syrup. Highly recommend if any vegans are reading this review

Had dinner here with my student daughter tonight. Delicious beetroot, goats cheese and roasted walnut salad, sweet potato fries and a pepperoni, rocket pizza with warm honey. Ingredients were fresh and tasty with very generous portions. The waitress was very professional, friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced and I could not fault anything. A very pleasant visit and we will be back. Thank you
