It seemed decent enough, was clean even though it must get high traffic being on O’Connell street and even though some people in there had been drinking, they weren’t rowdy in the slightest, it had a good atmosphere. We decided to go papa johns and ordered at that counter rather than go to the other tills. This is where the fun started. We asked the server for pizzas, one cheese and tomato and one pepperoni hot. The server could not quite believe we asked for a cheese and tomato pizza. She kept saying different variations of a cheese and tomato pizza whilst all the time looking at us in disbelief. Then asked if we wanted chips we didn’t. Again disbelief. She asked that question about times before she moved on. The drinks, we didn’t get an option, she just offered us sprites, whether we liked it or not. At this point we had no idea what pizzas we were going to get as clearly cheese and tomato was such a strange order to make. When the food was ready it was so exciting to see what they’d made. We did get cheese and tomato but for some reason we were charged for double cheese and the pepperoni also had double cheese. It was an absolute cheese feast and was delicious. The visit also provided many laughs to our party and it still baffles me how confused they were over a cheese and tomato pizza. I would eat here again because the food was cooked fresh and delicious.
You might expect frozen fish to be served at a fast food restaurant, but not at this establishment. They serve fresh fish, which is battered and deep fried to perfection, accompanied by plenty of real chips. The dish is even served on a real plate with a real knife and fork. This is the best place to enjoy a delicious meal at a reasonable price.
We ordered two regular burgers and were disappointed to find them covered in ketchup instead of burger sauce. It was a terrible experience and we believe the restaurant should be ashamed of their mistake at Supermacs O'Connell Street.
This restaurant is hands down the worst I've ever experienced. The prices are exorbitant and the place is filthy. It seems to attract a shady crowd. I would recommend staying far away from this place.
Very strange place to lunch and would not recommend. first, the facility was dirty, but I thought it was because of the recent lunch break when the place was cleared out, nobody offered to clean. we ended up with a tasteless cheese. pizza, some decent fries and a little can the diet cola. the best part was actually the garlic mayo. Skip if possible.
