Tadka House - Dublin

I ordered some food from tadka today .. The food was good and hot. But the mango lassi was disaster. Last time also the same happened. It’s only yogurt no taste of mango. Very dissatisfied mango lassi.

Had a chicken curry, perswari naan and samosa. Very good food. Portion sizes are generous.

I used to love Tadka. I move to Rathmines 5,5 years ago and Tadka was my favourite place for takeaway. One of rare takeaways that had fresh homemade chips I was surprised. And the best biryani l ever had. I was ordering from them once a week. Lately l must said l am disappointed and not ordering so much from them anymore. I don't know did the chef changed or management but it's not the same. No more fresh homemade chips, biryani is average and customer service is below average. So the Tadka i use to love was 11out of 10 Now is 5 out of 10.

I made an order on Just Eat which came to €42.81. I was given confirmation for the order and then 20mins later got a message to say the driver was on his way! A further 20mins later I recieved a call from Just Eat to tell me to call the restaurant, when I did I was just told my order was cancelled. I was given no apology or explanation. I was spoken to to very rudely when I asked why it had taken so long to inform me of this. Terrible manners, extremely rude.

When Tadka opened first they were great but food has been slipping not as good as before. Ordered samosas which were terrible. Pastry soggy filled with mash and not much else. Main dish wasnt good either chicken tikka in a sauce , not much to it and not very tasty ,very sweet. My starter of chicken was really dry. Shame as they started off with really fresh food which was well cooked and presented.
