Our server, as well as the host were lovely to deal with, however the girl running food to tables was probably the rudest service industry person I have ever encountered. We were a large group that had to be split between 2 tables, however since none of the other tables filled up it would have been nice to actually sit together for our last meal before flying out.
Expensive pizza and Italian food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Stone Baked Pizza Parking options: Paid parking garage
This restaurant will work if you don't want to go out to eat in the city. Given the location of the hotel, this will suffice for your appetite every night. The pasta dishes are above average. I wouldn't order the salmon dish. It doesn't bring the same level of taste as the other main dishes. It was also a bit dry. The garlic bread appetizer with the tomatoes on top was amazing. The mozzarella pizza I ordered was horrible. The bottom was chewy and the cheese slide off each slice. I've made better pizza at home. The desert brownie was made different every night. Some nights it was warm and other nights it was cold. Some nights I had two Ice cream scoops and other nights I only had one. Then there was the one time I had a raspberry on top. Again, if you're on a work trip like I was and you don't want to go out every night via public transit, the Italian Kitchen will do the job. Btw, alcohol is really over-priced. Buy yourself a bottle at the local supermarket and save yourself a few euros. I give this restaurant a 3.75/5 stars
Beware if you have Celiac Disease this restaurant offers horrible support, especially if you’re extremely sensitive they only have a salad and frankly is disappointing even Gas Stations in Dublin have more gluten free options and can’t compare with local restaurants. Cocktails are overpriced and made poorly, I’d recommend going for spirits or beer, the cosmopolitan was so sour when I received it I sent it back. Charging $15 dollar cocktails at that quality was extremely disappointing. We heard about long service times but the restaurant was very empty for the dinner service and came somewhat quickly which was nice as the seating was uncomfortable. The pesto was ordered along with chicken fettuccine Alfredo. From the 5 of us 3 meals were sent back and hardly touched. The food was bland, even after attempts with salt and pepper for prices charged I felt that sauce from a jar could have more flavor. My chicken in my fettuccine was overcooked and honestly rubbery in texture. Same with the mushrooms. Service was awful and we found ourselves having to grab our servers attention multiple times. The Atmosphere was poor, especially for people traveling long distances the seating was extremely uncomfortable and frankly reminded me of seating from the shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport. Overall, they had poor allergen support and knowledge. The food was bland, overcooked and overpriced. Drinks suffered the same fault. Service was poor even with maybe 3 groups in the restaurant and cannot imagine if it had been busy. They discounted our price at 50% but honestly the reaction to the quality seemed common.
Dietary restrictions: Terrible food it was bland and boring tried to fix it with salt and pepper but there was no saving it. When I told our server she did not seem to surprised. I would avoid this hotel all together since there is only one option for food and you will need to take a taxi to get something decent to eat. If you have any food allergies such as gluten do not stay here the staff is not well informed and you will not have any real options to eat. Out of our 5 dishes they were all disappointing.
