Wow! Discovered by accident whilst wandering, stopped for a glass of wine and cheese and olive snack before dinner, blown away, came straight back after dinner for cheese and port. Highly recommend the Vintage port with Picon and Manchego cheese and honey! Delicious.
I was looking for a place to eat near the drop-off point of our day trip tour and was intrigued by what I read about this place. It exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is charming, the food is excellent (and very vegetarian friendly) , service was attentive, and it was a very good value. We were lucky to score a walk-in table at 5:30 on a Sunday evening, but the place quickly filled up, so I suggest booking ahead to prevent disappointment.
We had a very nice dinner here. Remarkable how the tapas craze has come and gone in America but the Irish and English are still at it. The food here is good and the ambience is fun if noisy because of the long narrow space. It can be difficult to make yourself heard although that may have been at least partially a function of the rambunctious crowd one evening. We enjoyed everything we ordered and did not regret the dining choice.
Charming venue Pleasant staff (however they ignored our negative comments) Poor quality and preparation of food. Mayonnaise in my opinion is not aioli. Galician bread (prob French baguette) not toasted, mushrooms reheated. No red wine jus with duck cannelloni Chickpeas served with 1 teeny weeny slice of chorizo, not much evidence of piquillo peppers, no parsley. Big profit margin on this dish.
