The texture was very slimy and when ni chewed it, it didn't have the texture of chicken at all. The rice was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting in a pan all day, the rice was stuck together in clumps. Won't be ordering again!
Ordered a take away this evening, really looking forward to it....but it was a let down. Edible, but so disappointing! Spring rolls tasted like cinnamon, the spice box was poor, cashew tofu dish was meant to have roasted cashews...there were very few soggy cashews in there. Satay sauce was super watery, fried noodles were ot fried at all and it was all bland. Really tried to enjoy it but it was so mediocre. Personally wouldn't order from here again. Maybe just a bad night or new staff, but for us, the meal was poor tonight.
Wok on Inn is fantastic if you're looking for a quick filling meal in a pinch. I tend to usually go for the 5 euro daily specials which are chcken noodle boxes that change each day of the week. If you don't want to go for noodle boxes the spice bags here tend to be very good as well although if you don't care for chips you may prefer the smoked chicken instead(practically a chipless spice bag) although Regardless of what you order here it should be good. Despite the lack of seating and small size, Wok on Inn serves well priced and delicious Chinese food whicke is why I always come back.
Patronised it 3 times, 2-4 April 2019 , 3 dinners: Thai noodles, Roasted Pork rice and Japanese Udon with chicken respectively. Located opppsite O’connelly Train Station. Cuisine served : Chinese and Asian Staff : Young male staff had high EQ. On 2 Apr night, one local wanted him to pile up his box of rice with even more sweet sour meat. But anyone could see that rice and meat already reached the brim and staff had to close the top of the box for the local to take away. Local kept insisting, so male staff told him if he had wanted more, he had to pay more. Not a second that the young male staff lost his cool nor patience, he just kept very quiet for a while, no annoyance written on his face at all and he returned the local the money and said he didn’t want his business. He didn’t even raise his voice. Wow, well done, young lad! Local finally took his food as it was normally served to other customers. By the way, he’s in my picture. I met him once again on the 3rd night. Quality : Yummy! Portion : Just nice for locals! A little bigger than normal for Singaporeans. So I ate the food for dinner and supper. Price : Daily Special at €5. Rice box with 1 dish at €5.50 and fried rice of all sorts at €6.50. Setting : Purely takeaway. No seats inside. Business Hours : Either 11am-12midnight or 12noon-11pm, I can’t remember...
