We had a negative experience before even being seated for our meal. We made a reservation through Opentable the night before for a 6:15 pm reservation.

I must be losing my mind because I clearly remember going to Cedar Creek Estate Winery. However, when I think back on it, I can't recall anything about my experience there.

I booked this restaurant and got confirmation. WHen I arrived at the time it was closed for holidays

After making a reservation weeks in advance and receiving a confirmation, when we arrived at the restaurant for our special birthday reservation, there was a sign in the window that said they were closed for vacation. This is completely unacceptable for any patrons but even more so for international travelers who place our trust in Open Table to provide a confirmed reservation well in advance. Fortunately Mario’s in the next block felt sorry for us and shifted tables around to accommodate us. Their food was delicious and the restaurant was lovely. I highly recommend Mario’s. Don’t waste your time with a restaurant like La Reserve who thinks so little of its customers that they accept an Open Table reservation that they do not honor.
