I got to know about this place because of a work event. Will surely visit this place again. Had an amazing buffet
Last week, we celebrated our friends birthday in Opium which is located in Wexford Street, Dublin, and I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience. The ambiance was captivating with its stylish décor and inviting cool atmosphere. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of authentic Thai and Vietnamese dishes, each a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Each plate is a work of art, meticulously crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Opium Restaurant on Wexford Street captures the essence of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Dublin. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Thai or Vietnamese food or new to its delights, a visit to Opium is a must. It's a culinary journey that will transport your taste buds to the vibrant streets of Thailand while enjoying the comforts of a charming Dublin setting.
Really good meal here with my wife before going to the Paddy Power Comedy festival in the Iveagh Gardens Service was good We had Bao Buns and Vietnamese rolls to start We then had a prawn pad Thai and the seafood special was great To drink she had some nice cocktails and had Peroni My only negative comment is the wooden chairs are not very comfortable as they seem to be missing back support
Private booths were nice and toilets very nice. Food was good except my curry was served on a plate that could have been a bit bigger so the sauce wouldn't run over the side. I think the servers forgot about us though, they didn't come near us for ages after we got our mains.
