I recommend the more authentic rolling with raw tuna/gellowtail. it is a very safe place to be adventurous with the attempt of food, and the quality is excellent. the prices correspond to a qualitatiw high-quality sushi place, but it is easy to keep it favorable when it comes to a little budget.
I was asked to get my own menu and take a place. Waiting time to order food was too long.
Food quality is on the hill. the Teriyaki chicken was boiled and most of the fats. California roles were muddy. I was here a few times and wanted to like it, but not come back.
I wish I read the reviews before I visited this restaurant. I decided to go there because it was around 3 and no other Japanese sushi place was open except them. at the arrival the place looks pretty dark on the inside and dreary, but a server greeted me immediately and sat me. I received quickly drinks and my order was also taken quickly. they made a mistake in my order that they recognized and corrected immediately without having to point out. overall the rollers were decent, but not amazing. I had tempoura with my Bento box and the broccoli was overcooked and muddy. the hawn teriyaki was on the salty side. but I could have done that too. the worst part had to throw away a few flying while eating. there were so many gnats and fly that it was super unpleasant to eat there, so I quickly paid and went. service was good. environment, not so much. and eating was meh. I'm sorry, but I won't be back and I recommend it to anyone.
I purchased a bento box with both the tempura having damaged bottom leaking everywhere and also the main entree as well. Disgusting black dust on the take out dishes they could not have possibly missed when putting my food in. This was either intentional or grossly negligent. GROSS!!!!!! Go to Fat fish on old Santa Rita. They will treat your food better. I spent $38 on this filth. I would love to know which worker thought it was perfectly acceptable to put food in these to go platters. SMH. Vile.I spoke with someone on the phone and was told I would get a refund on at least the bento box. So at least they recognize they messed up. Will update once I actually get the refund. They requested my credit card number expiration date and 3 digit code. I’m gonna be monitoring my credit card and cancelling it due to shady behavior and not receiving my refund despite being told I would get a refund tonight. I was nothing but kind to them and tipped them despite being takeout. This behavior is incredibly despicable and I want to know who thought it was acceptable. *I king vile and nasty jobI called again asking if I would get my refund and they called me out so I brought my order to them and some random dude who didn’t know anything about the situation thought I was trying to harass the employees.Some random guy started harassing me. Avoid this place. WOW. I’m thinking of sewing this place. Just WOW
