Don't let the pictures fool you, this restaurant is much better than average chain restaurants like Ajien.
Spicy Tonkatsu in the picture was absolutely delicious. It took a while to sit and get my food, but I can't mistake the staff for a second. The waitress has never stopped moving from the first moment to the last. For all the feelings she did everything I could reasonably expect to care for my needs. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
I think we must have been there on a day because it took 40 minutes before someone went to our order and another 30 to get our food. We got a recommendation from a friend and were thrilled to try, but unfortunately the service killed them for us. The food was good.
It seems like there has been a change in ownership at this restaurant. The experience we had was completely different than when we visited two years ago. Despite the fact that they were supposed to open at 4:30PM, we arrived at 3:30PM and the owner kindly welcomed us in while we were looking at the menu. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. The Gyoza was well-prepared and did not seem to be prepackaged. The fried potato croquette and fried oysters were breaded nicely and had a delicious flavor. I ordered the pork flavored noodle dish and although it would have been better without MSG, it was a generous portion of hearty noodles. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, and did not taste like it was frozen.
