Vaso At Ac Dublin

Vaso is a wonderful place! they understand what it takes to provide a good service and continue to shine as a local intimate hot spot with a wonderful view of the sunset skyline over dublin and the scioto river. good food, good music, welcoming and comfortable. love this place!

This review documents a unique situation, but vaso staff has really left much to wish. my wife and I reserved vaso through opentable for dinner at Christmas night. we like to go after all family celebrations. our reservation was at 20:00. we arrived, kicked off and went to the hostess desk. we said we had a reservation of 8:00 a.m. and the host said: if we wanted something to order it quickly because they wanted to leave the staff at 21:00 a.m. we sat on the bar to speed up the dinge, and the bartender started our conversation, the hostess has already made the last call for drinks. After a short discussion, we were able to get them to take a drink order and decided to get a bottle of chardonnay to avoid further care of the bar staff. based on the above, we ordered only two appetizers empanadas and calamari (both of them were very good) to do safely before the 9:00 hexe hour. usually vaso is open until 1 hour on Thursday. my wife and I fully understand that the restaurant can close early to christmas, but if they accept a reservation of 8 pm, they should not say that we have to order quickly because they soon close when we arrive and welcome them to us at the bar with us already made call.

I was disappointed that a special cocktail lounge could not make a brandy alexander or a grashüpfer to christmas if some want to try something else. When it finally went for a bourbon and a soda, it took about 10 minutes to get this drink. after that the service was better. the eating was good, and the ambiente was very nice. will be visited again if the weather allowed a seat in the free.

Have made a reservation for christmas eve. restaurant called me 2 days prior to fixing that they decided to close early and needed to either come sooner or cancel my reservation. we agreed to an earlier time and then the restaurant called me 2 hours before the reservation to inform me that the kitchen was closed at the time of our reservation. very disappointed.

Somewhat pricey drinks. Great view. Recommend the almonds and toasted peas snack with drinks. Cool bar.
