This place has a very solid fan base, and based on my experience they deserve it. Your menu is extensive. The Rainbow roll led the fresh seafood and quality sushi test (10 out of 10); the Dublin roller was high quality, but somewhat less exciting (7 out of 10). Yoshi made me a stupid guy. The Ebi Shumai (Shrimp dumplings) are a heavenly bite. I come back every time! The Negi Wonton are also excellent, soak in some tasteful juices. The Yakitori set is a simple but very pleasant appetizer. Yoshi's is a little pricier than the average local sushi/Japanese spot, but nothing crazy, and it's totally worth it. I will certainly continue to visit and explore more from the menu (noodles / dishes). This is the best Japanese place where I was a local jewel in Dublin!
This is the best spot for authentic sushi and Japanese food in the city! I highly recommend coming in and checking the weekly specials on the whiteboard. A great place to sit down with some drinks and share a variety of dishes with good company. I’ve been a frequent regular for the past 3 years...in short, you can tell that the food quality here is on point. This is easily one of my favorite spots in the city.
Quality food here with a large variety. Sushi quality was great and noticed the fish was nicely cut and gave good fish flavor. The kaarage was well fried and very meaty which was great. The mackerel was excellent and the skewers were very good. I’d definitely will be returning to try other options on the menu as there was just so much to try! Really glad I went and you can tell it was popular with how busy it was. I would definitely recommend it due to the variety and quality of its meat and fish. Also atmosphere and staff was great in such a tiny place.
Dined-in here maybe a year ago and all was well. It was recommended at that time, in fact. Ordered Door Dash from these guys tonight and it was nothing short of gross. It arrived relatively quickly so it wasn 't the dashers fault or a busy problem. We had to throw the food away. The sushi was in a container like one gets from Kroger with a sell-by date of tomorrow. The sushi salmon flesh was pale and flavorless. Our shrimp hibachi too was inedible and very haphazardly made. The small teriyaki shrimp that came with the meal had an unnatural consistency and seemed like it was made earlier in the day or perhaps it 's even yesterday. The egg rolls too were cold and appeared and tasted like they were made hours ago. I 've had all you can eat late night China buffets that were superior in quality to what we received here. Not sure what happened to this place but avoid at all costs; at least the Door Dash/delivery side of things. Nothing was made to order! Yuck!
