The place with the best fish ever, plus incredible lovely staff... such a nice atmosphere and a astonishing view. If you come to Mljet you should visit Stermasi : the best place on the island. I can highly recomend it. Go for it. You never ever regret it!!! Lay back and enjoy the delicious food!!!

The most beautiful view high above the Adriatic and the most delicious, lovingly prepared seafood served by warm, hospitable staff who treated us like old friends. We had lobster; took a look at him in his nice uncrowded outdoor stone tank. The chef steamed him and put him on the fire briefly for an exquisite smoky flavor. Everyone was kind and attentive, including the resident cat who was sociable and polite. To get to the restaurant you climb a beautiful stone stairway past fig, pomegranate, lemon, lime and olive trees; it puts one in the perfect mood for this perfect perch, perfect view, perfect kindness and perfect food. House-made everything: yeasty bread, home-cured olives, their own olive oil, fresh lemonade from their own lemons. Thank you, Stermasi, for an unforgettably lovely experience.
