딩동식당 Dingdong Korean

I love Korean eating and it was so nice to have it in dubrownik. the fried chicken was delicious, with only the right amount of crispy and tasteful sauce. I missed going chicken radii 치 치, but the hen came with fries and a side salad. the riders were decent; I didn't care about the salad. the service was also fast and the waiting staff friendly. overall this place was great, and I would like to go back, it is a good alternative to the other restaurants in the city, and absolutely wonderful if they lack Korean.

Chewed chicken was delicious and this white spicy noodle was very refreshing. incredible, to find a delicious Korean restaurant on the beautiful staircase of dubrownik. service was very good and the price is affordable! another great memory for our journey.

Searched on internet, it’s the only Korean restaurant in the old town Dubrovnik. A small restaurant in the middle of a hill, needs to walk a bit of steps to reach its entrance. Nice and cozy decoration inside with air-conditioning, which can cool you off a bit in the hot summer. Menu with limited choices of food, there is only one rice dish, rice with beef, vegetables and eggs, the rice dish was delicious. For the noodles you can choose seafood or vegetarian, all are spicy, you can order extra spicy if you want. I had the ordinary vegetables noodles, it was very spicy already. The noodles is a bit disappointing to be honest, though it has a very nice presentation. I would say it tastes like “instant noodles”. The spicy soup base is just like the soup base in Shin cup “a Korean instant cup noodles”, a MSG tasted soup. The white cabbage and shredded carrots are a bit hard, I would prefer it softer. The Japchae “Korean glass-noodles” is a appetiser on the menu, so it’s a small plate though lots of other Korean restaurants serve it as main, you don’t have a choice to have a bigger dish of japchae here. It was stir fried with pork and veg, I would say the pork is a bit too much when compared to the glass-noodles which is supposed to be the “main character” of the dish, and it tasted sweet which is funny to me. The fried chicken wings has a bit of sweet taste as well, maybe that’s the Korean style. There is a bell on the table for the customers to press for staff attention, which is handy, however I think the Korean staff (or the restaurant owner there? pay too much attention on the bell, he came to our table without me ringing the bell and I just asked him to take the order for us, and he said we didn’t ring the bell, What a joke!

Here for lunch. the hotel is located on the main tourist roads the restaurant was quiet, and the air cone saved us from a hot day. all the foods were very well cooked and tasty, enjoyed all the dishes and service.
