Maid-rite - Dubuque

I was informed that Maid-Rite is the iconic Iowa dish, and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the service staff were helpful and friendly.

While the restaurant is popular for its sandwiches, the breakfast options are also quite good. The menu is very traditional, so don't expect to find items like bran muffins or yogurt parfaits. The breakfast options include sausage, eggs, bacon, and a choice of white or wheat bread for $6.50. I will definitely return in the future.

I wish I could give them a better rating, but they are just okay. I haven't tried them since 1994, and they are not particularly memorable compared to other similar options available.

Awesome food price on breakfast they just can’t seem to make over easy eggs yolk is all solid been there 8 times 5 of 8 hard eggs other wise very good hope they can figure out so I can keep going

I love any mom and pop locations, and this is one for the books. Great food, affordable, and some of the best burgers and shakes you'll have in this city. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, friendly staff of people.
