Eastside - Duck

We were disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed after making a reservation. Although it's the off season, we were surprised to see it shut tight when we arrived. The food is typically excellent, so it was unfortunate that we couldn't enjoy it this time.

It is a really nice place. The crab fritters were excellent. My only two complaints: 1. Beer was over carbed. 2. I ordered the ramen. It looked spectacular, but it had zero taste...like they had focused so much on the fancy ingredients but forgot to add salt

We ate at Eastside for in OBX for Girls Night Out Birthday celebration. The food was great. There were options for everyone, including a picky eater and a vegetarian. There was also somethings for a few of the more adventurous eaters. Great tucked away spot for a vacation escape dinner. Definitely recommend.

Good place for noodles, great burgers, inventive salads and other dishes. We had blue crab fritters, which were excellent and also the great hand cut chips. They have some craft beers that are very good and a limited wine menu. Nice, easy going place.

To make matters worse, she later overheard us discussing this issue and confronted us about it. She then angrily announced to her coworkers that she was refusing to serve us any longer. Thankfully, another waitress took over and the manager apologized for the incident. Despite the apology, we were baffled why someone in the service industry would think this behavior was acceptable. While we may consider returning to the restaurant in the future, we will only do so if the waitress in question is not working. As tourists in the area, we were left wondering if the restaurant values its returning customers.
