Went in to have a drink and some food, struggled to find anywhere to sit due tables being a mess and not tidied up. There was no queues either so I don’t understand how not even one person can go and clean the tables down. I had to move things off a table so I could sit down which should not be down to the customers to make space for themselves. One staff came out and tidied one table and then went back behind the till where there was no customers to serve.
Perfect staff, friendly customer service, kirsty and dan in particular had to get there names as I was so so pleased, went above and beyond to ensure I was served fastly and happy with my order, even though you can see they were very busy inside and drive thru, these 2 staff members deserve a medal for the outstanding customer service I received, made my day and was only a trip for a quick coffee on my commute to another job I had on! Thanks guys you'll see me again keep up the good work!
I used to frequent this Costa fairly regularly before lockdown for get togethers and everything was top notch, speedy service, clean toilets and clear tables but since lockdown eased things have slid downhill considerably. Everytime I visit tables are littered with dirty cups and mugs, on a couple of visits only paper cups were available, in fact a dirty paper cup had been hiding in a display stand for a few months going completely unnoticed by staff. Toilets are dirty or shut down for maintenance. I understand stand staff shortages and costs etc but this volume of errors consistently is somewhat offputting considering the astronomical prices of the coffee, and that a bank loan is required for a slice of cake. I'm reaching for that jar if Nescafe from now on.
Really friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Great selection of hot and cold drinks with a nice selection of sweet treats
