Emerald Chinese - Dudley

My third visit to this restaurant. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was nice and hot and very tasty . A most enjoyable evening and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

We have visited this place a few times as we live in the village and we cannot fault it the food is always top notch. In the week they do a 5 course special and believe me you will not find better value anywhere else, And you wont leave hungry

Service was friendly but the food isn't nowhere near as good as the Ruby in Amblecote. Enjoyed the fillet steak in black pepper but wasn't keen on deep fried spare ribs.

Well what can I say... this place does not disappoint, decided to book a table for valentines night and the food was out this world.....salt and pepper chicken wings are a must! i love coming here the staff are all so friendly and polite. Without a doubt the best Chinese around. See you soon guys

So disappointed tonight! We called the Emerald at around 7:30 (admittedly a last minute decision on a Saturday) to ask if they had a table for 2 available. They said they had but it would be around 8:30-8:45. We said that was fine. They said, no problem, no name required, just turn up. Lovely! We arrive at 8:45 to be told by the waitress that there was no table and that ‘she found it hard to believe we had called because no one would say there was a table’ At this point I asked, are you accusing me of lying? Would you like to see my call list to which she said yes! I proved it and but she still wasn’t happy and said there was no table! Disgusting customer service- shame on the man who took the call for not owning up and saying there was a table when there wasn’t! I will not be returning!!
