The food arrived lukewarm two hours after ordering. Despite multiple attempts to contact the restaurant, there was no answer. The service was extremely poor and I would not use this restaurant again or recommend it.
I only ordered from this restaurant because of the Uber Eats promotion, but it turned out to be a mistake. I ordered crispy beef in spicy sauce, but received crispy beef in plum sauce, which was extremely sweet. Additionally, I ordered chips which were not included in the order. The entire order arrived 40 minutes later than promised and was lukewarm at best. The dumplings were good, and the shrimp curry was decent, but the rest of the food was average. To top it off, the delivery person tried to deliver my order to both of my neighbors by mistake.
Despite telling them twice that no dishes should contain peppers guess what they sent. That's right, a dish full of the things I'm allergic to. Fortunately they were seen before I ate any. God help anyone with a nut allergy that goes there.
Ordered a take away and it came nearly an hour and a half later, cold with chips covered in black spots. Took it back and insisted on my money back. Turns out the place is now owned by the man who owns the Red Lantern Chinese Take Away. No surprise then that the food was poor. I’ve had meals from both take away snow and they are awful. It’s not the cook at Rainbow Hill but the owner who purchased poor quality raw materials and doesn’t store them appropriately. I had the misfortune to have a ‘discussion’ with him over the phone. He is rude, arrogant and foolish so it’s no wonder his food is so bad. Don’t bother using either take away, you will be disappointed.
