Die Bratwurst - Düsseldorf

I needed a casual dinner for Friday busy night. I ordered carving with fries. the woman was kind. they manage order well. the carving was good, with a large part of chrispy pommes. I thought for 7,5 eur, I would get something as a very small meal on the go, but it was much better than expected. it is a good place to catch a meal for 30 minutes or less. I would go for this place again!

Came here late after a champions league match, around 11p. By that time the indoor seating was closed, but they were still serving. I chose the bratwurst with fries, came to about 5€. Fries were pretty good, made fresh (but from frozen potatoes) and had a nice crunch but not overlooked. They served the bratwurst sliced on a paper plate and it was unmemorable. I've had better at German restaurants in LA. However, not a bad option if you're starving and looking for a late night option. And it's near freezing and you don't want to keep walking around Altstadt looking for other choices. And you don't want to settle for pizza while visiting Germany.
