Santiago Restaurant - Düsseldorf

Had a tapas plate and a burger, both were delicious. The waiter (a girl) was very attentive and fast

Sat down...20 minutes of trying to get the waiters attention (who kept running off) the restaurant was quiet so that wasn't an excuse. So we left. The table next to us also left after waiting just before us. Absolute joke.

If you want to have a nice meal and good service, don't go here. We ordered a Chateaubriand for 6 persons which costs €180. But when we got the plate we thought that there would come another one, there was barely 500gr of meat on the platter even though we ordered at least 1500gr. Upon asking if this was all we eventually got another platter. Maybe they just tried to rip us of if we didn't say anything about it. When we wanted to pay they tried to make us pay for both platters (€360). When I started to make a fuss about it and had quite a big argument with the apparent owner (who spoke 8 languages but where probably only German) we managed to pay just for the first plate. Afterwards we went to the McDonalds because we where still hungry, it was way better and without a fuss. Conclusion: don't do this to yourself, it's a giant rip off.

We were walking by this restaurant when going to parking kunsthalle which is very closeby.Instead of taking the car and dining elsewhere, we chose to eat here, as there was still place on the terrace.We all had steaks and they were deliciously served with fries.Despite negative comments here, we didn't have complaints : the food was good, service was OK and it was not overpriced. We had a bottle of wine and some water.

Lovely restaurant with variety choices of starters, steaks and desserts. The staff are friendly and fast.
