Trattoria Linguini und Vinoteca Linguini

My third time here and every time it gets better. I cant tell you how fabulous the service is...our appetizers this time...bruchetta, a veal dish with a creamy sauce on top, small potato pancakes with smoked salmon, topped a dill mustard...they were to die for....shrimp in a sweet and hot sauce served on top of beets...the shrimp and beets were perfect and the sauce was plate licking worthy. My meal....oh my oh my, the best ever...pasta in a cream sauce and the pasta were little homemade sacks filled with truffle and a bit of cheese. The flavor was outstanding. I got caught scraping the plate with a piece of bread and my spoon afterwards. I didnt want to leave a drop it was so good. The wine was fantastic as well. I didnt do the picking, just the drinking....a perfect evening from soup to nuts. Its Italian at its best in Dusseldorf!!!

I agree with Lisa S.! We ate at Linguini with a group of 12 last evening and everything was top shelf! The wine was very nice, the service was spot on, and the food was very good. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you're in town for a show and want to take customers or if you have a small group and just want to relax. The atmosphere is lively yet you can still carry on a conversation without yelling across the table.

Very beautiful Italian decorated in Pempelfort. Modern and bright, with large window in front of the street, which is completely open in summer, so that you can also sit inside on the terrace. Was there under the week and there was not much going on I was served very fast. From the prices on the map I was positively surprised, because of the noble ambience I would have expected more, but most dishes were under 10 euros. The noodles were beautifully dressed and delicious, just like the wine. Good choice not only for the weekend to have a nice meal.
