Papa Luca - Dullstroom

Papa Luca's, located next to the rose garden and the sweet shop, is a hidden gem with unique touches, such as pet bowls outside. The service is friendly and personal, and the Italian food is delicious without being overly fancy. (see photos for reference).

We were staying overnight in the city and decided to ask Dave Gunns from Wild Over Whisky for a dinner recommendation. As they say, trust the locals! This was not a trendy, overhyped restaurant – this place was all about delicious food. If that's not the main reason for going out to eat, then I don't know what is. Make sure to try the lamb and the peppered filet. We can discuss more over dessert later.

The food here is fantastic! I absolutely love it and will definitely be recommending it to others.
