I had the bruschetta and focaccia to start with, and it was so good, dominant balsamic taste but really good. They have a house made mock sausage that is vegan and it had a great texture and a nice spice to them. They take reservations online and fill up fast. Nice water view of lake superior. Everyone loved their food. Highly recommend!

Va Bene was recommended by a friend. We requested a reservation for 5pm and the lake view. We sat right away, our server was friendly and food came out quickly. Incredibly cozy ambience. Espresso Martini was delicious. Also highly recommend the Roasted Red Pepper Spread for an appetizer. I had the Pasta Alla Zucca Violina (incredible) and my husband had Gorgonzola Al Peperoncino. There is nothing I would change about this experience. It was an unforgettable night, thanks Va Bene!

Such a great little Italian restaurant! All of the food is so amazing, and the staff is so professional and nice. You can be just as casual as you want, or dress up and make it a special date for fine dining. There is absolutely nothing not to love about this place!
