Came for dinner with the family & the service was very friendly. Ordered the lamb yiro & egg plant chips, lamb yiro was great & egg plant chips was definitely different, didn't love them but also didn't hate them, might be something I won't try again but all in all it was nice. The staff made the experience great, very friendly & service was pretty fast.
The staff are friendly and the food is excellent and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who has no food allergies.PEANUT ALLERGY sufferers should be aware that the banana split milkshake has peanut butter in it and this ingredient is not listed on the menu. I have advised staff of this and assume it has been passed on.The chargrilled meat dishes are amazing and the eggplant chips are astoundingly good. The staff are always so pleasant and when we had our food allergy issue, which luckily did not result in anaphylaxis, the waitress took it very seriously. Upon our return a month later the menu still had not been changed, but the young man who took our order said he'd pass it on to management. As of today the menu has not changed to include declaration of allergens so this concerns me.Still, I will be back!
One visit and I was hooked. The great hospitality and the exquisite mouthwatering food has made me a regular customer. I have a favourite which I manage to keep for a couple of weeks, then I am tempted with something else and I am hooked on that and it goes on...The grilled John Dory with mash and lemon butter sauce is my current favourite! The location is so convenient even for a quick dinner after work in the city. The light rail is just across the road. Celebrated my mother's 79 birthday there and our guests were delighted with the food and atmosphere, as was my dear mother. The staff are so very personable and never rush you to leave so it feels homey and comfortable. Best place to eat in Sydney with friends and family.
We have been here a few times with friends, it’s a friendly, casual, nice & quiet atmosphere . The gourmet burgers are nice but the slow cooked lamb shoulder & eggplant fries are even better. I would have to also recommend the Haloumi with honey, it’s mouth-watering. There is plenty of options for burgers & yiros. Its good value for money & George the waiter is fantastic, his attentive and well presented. But the food coming out of the kitchen & having simple coffees made takes a longgg timeee. Each & every time we have been here, there would no more than 17 people. If you’re hungry, you may want to have a cheeseburger beforehand, as you will be waiting a while for your food. Even though the food takes a long time to come out, we will be back.
