Cafe Isla - Dumaguete City

I have visited this restaurant twice with my daughter and we absolutely love their food. It is both affordable and delicious. The staff is very friendly and treats you nicely.

This review is for the restaurant at Island Boutique Hotel. We decided to dine here based on a recommendation from Trip Advisor. The waitress was friendly, but the wait time was extremely long. Despite being the only customers in the small restaurant with only 9 tables, our first dish (bruschetta) took almost an hour to arrive. Out of the 7 different dishes we ordered, only the "sizzling stuffed squid" was decent, although it was not sizzling as advertised. The rest of the food fell far below our expectations. It was our first time trying bruschetta served on sliced bread, which was disappointing. Additionally, the lack of proper air conditioning made the dining experience uncomfortable and sweaty. Overall, we were very disappointed with our meal and regretted choosing this restaurant. It is unclear how this place received a recommendation on Trip Advisor. If you don't mind mediocre food and uncomfortable dining conditions, this may be the place for you.
