La Riviera - Dumbrăvița

Hi all of you !Since few years I enjoy having lunch or dinner with friends & family and one of the most appreciated artists of our time, its a great, great place almost make you feel like home , a food that 90% of the time taste the same Sea food you must not miss ! Mushrooms porcini , rice with Parmesan , beef , duck and so on you name it all the food and drink in the menu you can try and you will not be disappointed ! One of the best places in town , a lot of wines category ,even the cheapest one taste grate !Desert it's a pleasure to your eyes and will take you to a different level of experience, you must try tiramisu with a strong espresso , is just melting in your mouth .The people here know how to serve you in the most professional way you could aspect from this small town . Trust on this one you'll bot be disappointed !

We are hotel guests and are eating at La Riviera almost daily. Every time the food is carefuly prepared and delicious. The plating is beatiful and the portions are big.If you want a vine recommendation, the waiters have a good selection of local vines. We liked the Recas Rose. It is a light and refreshing vine pairing well with salads or pizza or deserts. Enjoy the place:)

Very nice place. Very good food, even sea food. Nice terace on the backyard. The staff is very polite.

Today I have intended to ask for pasta but the waiter has mentioned some garlic sauce (normally it is made from cream and garlic), which is my favorite so, I decided to take a pizza as it goes well with it. I asked the lady if the sauce is a veritable one and she assured me that it is.As a result, I changed the pasta with a rustic pizza, expecting to have at least some natural sausages and ham on it. The sauce came first time looking like milk with some condiments inside. Absolutely no flavor of garlic.The waiter took it back and returned the same sauce with some garlic just trowed inside - the result was still a disaster. On the pizza, they put probably the cheapest ham (like plastic) and some poor mushrooms. The taste was also unpleasant. Personally, I don't recommend it.

It was a good restaurant in 2016, but now serving is getting worse: there are 3 tables busy but you still have to wait 15 minutes until somebody sees you waiting. The food comes after 30 minutes. To ask for the bill, you have to go looking for someone because no one sees you as waiting. It's full of flies in the restaurant. However, is good that the food is still good and the restaurant is beautifully arranged.
