New Hunan - Dumfries

Delivery is always fast. I'm half asian, so I'm funny about food runs, but this is clean, the rice is always fresh and I always order garlic scrimp, with additional noodles. The portion is also really good. I highly recommend this place. They are also open quite late on weekends.

I love New Hunan. This is our way to spot; the lady in the register always makes us very welcome, and her food was always the best in the area. Very recommended.

I went with a friend and got her Chicken Chow Mein. It was so good! The food was hot. The part was excellent, it filled my stomach. New Hunan has an excellent job with my order, you were quick and friendly! I'll get all my Chinese.

My family has been ordering from New Hunan for about 20 years and we have never been disappointed. As a teenager, I ordered lemon chicken every time and the young woman at the counter called me Lemon. I was thrilled to go back when I recently moved back to the area and it's as good as I remember.

I love this place! The food is delicious--l wish I could recreate their broccoli in brown sauce, fried rice, chicken in black bean sauce, or Hunan chicken--and the service is always excellent. The owner is irrepressibly charming and knows her customers by name. Her smile and good cheer are delightful. The restaurant is fastidiously clean, which is very reassuring these days. I always look forward to my weekly visits. Highly recommended!
